Presage's Sharp Edged series has become one of Seiko's most
distinguished collections.
With the new Caliber 6R5J, the latest creations have a three-day power
reserve. A striking cutout at the 9 o'clock position on the dial has the
characteristic shape of an asanoha, or "hemp leaf," matching the
traditional Japanese pattern seen on the dial's surface. The escapement
of this watch's mechanical movement can be enjoyed through this opening.
This model has the area of color "aitetsu"; indigo blue that
traditionally samurai warriors wore on their kimono or armor to bring
them good luck in battles.
