This series has a dynamic presence thanks to the dimensional case and
finely finished facetted bezel on top, which is contrasted by the
mirror-polished sides. The lines of the case flow seamlessly through the
lugs to a bracelet that has a sharp design that blends with the angular
case to give the watches a refined appearance.The titanium case and
bracelet have a scratch-resistant super-hard coating.The watch features
a cleanly designed dial with a single sub-dial at 8 o'clock indicating
the process of receiving the signal from the GPS satellites, as well as
the state of charge of the watch, the reception of leap second data and
the flight mode.
The blue, gray and black dials feature a pattern reminiscent of the
quartz crystals used to create the tuning fork-shaped quartz oscillators
of the original Quartz Astron introduced by Seiko in 1969. The hour and
minute hands of all watches are filled with Lumibrite to improve
readability in low light conditions.
